You can apply in 5 steps to for a job on Inspira. There is also a sixth step if you are shortlisted. The first five are:
- Search for a Job
- Login to Inspira
- Create and / or Update your Profile
- Complete Application, and
- Submit Application
- Assessment and Interview
Step 2: Login to Inspira. hat’s easy, and we have already seen this in the previous session. You can login through Careers Portal or directly after finding a job.
Step 3: Create and / or Update your Profile. It’s about the information in “My Profile” section. This information is used by UN, and you need to make sure that this is accurate. Any changes in your personal details need to be updated and will automatically be reflected in your profile.
Step 4: Complete the Application. Here you’ll have 4 things to do:
- Create Your Application
- Write the Cover Letter
- Access and Update Your Draft Application
- Apply to a Job Opening and Answer the Questions (as applicable)
Step 5: Submit the application. Now your application is ready you can actually submit it. You will receive an e-mail confirming that the application was registered. Pre-screening will follow, checking your eligibility and than you will be considered by the hiring team.
Step 6 - Assessment and interview Assessment follows if you are eligible for the position. It an be a written exercise, a technical test, an essay, a presentation, a simulation or another type of test that will aim to measure your skills for the job. The interview might be conducted via telephone, video conference or in person. There is a Competency Based Interview procedure that guides firing teams and participant in performing this.
