The External View
As a coach, you should always ask yourself, "How can I help my coachee to progress?" or "What opportunities exist for me to support my coachee?"
Of course, every situation is different but, as a coach, you have the advantage of being able to look at the coachee's situation in an objective way. This "external" view is a vital element in answering these questions.

2 - "John doesn't have a chance to write, but some of his work is superb.” (...)
